I haven’t got the best photos of this place, apologies 🙁 please don’t judge by these pictures, this place is a little paradise for nature lovers.
Address: School Lane, Minstead, Lyndhurst SO43 7GL
Opening times: Daily 10:00 am till sunset, Gift and coffee shop closes at 5 pm.
Prices: Entrance to the Gallery and coffee shop is free. But they do state that garden entrance is based on donations and there are various price ranges with an adult ticket at the rate of £8. I do not know if this is compulsory as the last time I have visited I have been told I can donate the money I wish to see the Gardens. Your donations will be well-used since they do make a great effort in maintaining this stunning place and it is supported by Furzey Gardens Charitable Trust which also supports people with learning disabilities.
Please note:
- Car parking is free
- Only assistance dogs are allowed
- Kids will love it here as there are several walking trails, play areas, tree houses, hidden fairy doors (40 of them apparently!) for them to explore (I don’t have a decent picture of any of these:( . Also please watch the children as there is pond in the garden)
- Great place for family picnic and a good way to get kids close to nature.
- You can get a map of the place which can be used to locate parts of Garden which have a collection of rare plants from all over the world. There are stunning display of beautiful flowers and each part of garden is very vibrant! Please visit their website for more details: http://www.furzey-gardens.org/index.php
