Three mobile – ‘Feel At Home’
Three mobile’s ‘Feel at home’ is one of the best choices for travelling to Europe(not the whole of Europe yet) and around the world. You can use your UK allowances free when you are travelling abroad in Three mobile’s ‘ Feel at home’ destinations.
Current ‘Feel at Home’ destinations : Australia, Austria, Denmark,Finland, France, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Lanzarote -Spain, Macau, New Zealand, Norway, Republic of Ireland, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, United States.
Cost : It is completely free for Three customers.
Pros: Free as long as you stay within your UK allowances. Some non-EU countries like USA& Australia is also included Cons: Not all EU countries are included
Vodafone Euro traveller/ World Traveller
For an addition £3 per day you can use your current UK allowance free when you travelling in Europe under the Euro traveller. If you pay £5 per day you can use your UK allowances worldwide.
Pros: a lot more countries are included. Cons: Bit more expensive than Three mobile
NB : There is a new EU rule coming in June 2017 which abolishes the roaming charges altogether in Europe.
